The best way to develop software is to have an active use for it, because it's only when you try something out in real life scenarios that you see the real pain points and solutions.
Plus, having project deadlines helps keep things moving at a fast pace. Except for the whole distraction from having to do extra work, thing... But you know, you can't be forged without going through a fire.
So I was thinking about coming up with a project to use as a test run of this software as I build it. It's kind of like trying to do a bike race while you're still building the road, but if the authors involved know that this is a real anthology, but used as a test of the software so expect delays, then everyone knows what they're getting in to and can be more understanding... Right? That, that's how it works, right? What do you mean the internet doesn't work that way?
Anyway, so now I just need to brainstorm some ideas for a test anthology project... Hmmm... What theme should I go with...
