The last several days I have spent doing marketing research. For the home/welcome page I was trying to find the best information to put on the page, which led down the rabbit hole of trying to come up with a Value Proposition statement for anthology gateway.

The good news is that we have a good start on this now! The bad news is that it cost me a few days. Time marches on, but so does the progress!

The problem with the polishing phase of a particular milestone is that’s it’s really difficult to figure out how much polish is too much and how much isn’t enough.

I want the features that I have to shine and be easy to use and look professional, but there seems to always be more that I can do… where to draw the line of how much to work on before I move to the next major features is what I was facing tonight.

Lots of cleanup for the publisher and anthology section. At least one area really needs some more polish, but other than that I think we’re almost ready to test…

Now to start finding testers!

I think I'm about ready to call Milestone 2 DONE!

I spent a lot of tonight going through and polishing the various pages that I have created. The page that displays the anthologies that are currently "launched", and almost a complete remake of the Anthology View page. All of the anthology details are now shown, and if you have a publisher profile attached then that is shown as well.

The next thing that needs to be done is add a "Submit My Manuscript" button! But that will likely be in Milestone 4...

Tomorrow I will wrap up any lose ends with Milestone 2, write up a post about it, and then get started on Milestone 3, which will be Author profiles.

I'm excited to see where this project goes!
